The Australian Wound and Skin Alliance (AWSA) is delighted to host the third AWSA Summer School (AWSA 2027) at the newly opened, world-class Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.

The AWSA Summer School aims to foster a culture of reflective practice in skin and wound management within an interactive learning environment—encouraging questions, sparking debate, and driving solutions.

This two-day program is designed to engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate a wide range of wound-related topics. Our goal is to strengthen and broaden your knowledge—not only in managing individuals with chronic wounds but also in understanding and questioning the underlying “whys.” The curriculum will feature case studies, lived experiences, and opportunities for discussion, debate, and inquiry.

Unlike a conference, this unique experience invites you to share insights with key opinion leaders, experts, and emerging voices, helping to foster learning and growth across the industry.

Program Highlights:

  • Interactive Group Sessions: Two full days of collaborative learning, reflection, and debate on themes and topics relevant to wound care.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers and experts during informal social gatherings and dedicated networking events.
  • Exclusive Access: Limited to 100 participants to ensure an optimal learning experience. Pre-reading materials, resources, and links will be provided before and after the Summer School.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Geelong in 2027 for an inspiring and transformative learning experience.
